Kermit Spears

Chief Human Resources Officer at Fort Bend ISD

Kermit Spears was named Chief Human Resources Officer for Fort Bend ISD in 2013. Mr. Spears is a successful Human Resources executive with global experience who has worked in the HR field for more than 18 years.

For the past seven years, Spears has worked in multiple roles with increasing responsibilities in his extensive experience with the Dell Corporation. He most recently served as the Corporate Director of HR for Dell Global Services where he provided strategic management and execution of major HR projects and initiatives. Prior to this role, he served as HR Director for both the Global Talent Management and Global Operations teams. Spears has also worked in HR roles for several other business sectors.

Spears received his Master of Business Administration from Webster University in Kansas City, Missouri. He received a Master of Arts degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and his Bachelor of Arts degree in Math and Business from Louisiana Tech University.
